Born on 17th May 1908. Educated at Sir J.J. Gujarat School, Surat; Sir J.J. English High School, Surat; Sorabji J.J. Government High School, Surat; M.T.B. Sarvajanik College, Surat (upto Inter Arts); Elphinstone College, Bombay. Enrolled as an Advocate of the Bombay High Court on 5th November 1931 and of the Gujarat High Court on 18th March, 1961. Worked as Principal Judge, City Civil Court from 4.11.1961 to 16.12.1962 at Ahmedabad. While at the Bar he practiced Criminal and Civil Cases for the 1st 10 years and thereafter mostly Civil cases at Surat. Appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Gujarat on 17.12.1962 for one year. Re-appointed as Additional Judge for a further period of two years with effect from 17.12.1963. Appointed as Permanent Judge from 6th October 1964. Retired on 17th May, 1970.
