Born on 11.6.1908. Educated at Rashtriya Shala, Umreth Jubilee Institute, M.T.B. Arts College at Surat (F.Y. Arts). Baroda College, Baroda, L.A. Shah Law College, Ahmedabad. Enrolled as a Pleader for the district of Kaira in the year 1930. Did Judicial work in Kaira District. Joined service on 10.10.36 at Junnar and Vadgaon as 2nd Class Sub-Judge. Appointed as Additional City Magistrate, Ahmedabad on 3.1.1945. Promoted on 26.4.1948 as Assistant Judge and Assistant Sessions Judge. Promoted on 26.3.54 as District & Sessions Judge, Mehsana. Deputed to Kutch as District & Sessions Judge in October 1954 and then April 1957 onwards worked as District & Sessions Judge at places such as Surat, Rajkot and Baroda. Appointed as Judge, City Civil Court, Ahmedabad on 4.11.1961. Appointed as Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Ahmedabad on 16.12.1962. Appointed as Additional Judge, Gujarat High Court on 13.5.1965 for a period of two years. Appointed permanent Judge on 25.11.1967. Retired on 11th June 1970.
