Born on 12.5.1916. Educated at Alfred High School, Bhavnagar, Samaldas College, Bhavnagar and Sir Lallubhai Shah Law College, Ahmedabad. Enrolled as an Advocate in July, 1939 in the former Bhavnagar State. Practised on the Civil Side in Bhavnagar. Appointed Civil Judge and Magistrate in Bhavnagar State on 28.2.1943 and District and Sessions Judge, Gujarat on 22.9.1963. Appointed Registrar, the High Court of Gujarat on 6.6.1969. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Gujarat High Court w.e.f. 12.4.1973 for a period of two years. Appointed permanent Judge on 26.9.1975 (A.N.). Retired on 12.5.1978.
