Born on 26.9.1934. Enrolled Advocate with the Bar Council of Gujarat on 23.3.1962. Practised in the Courts at Bhavnagar upto 1970. Also, practised in the Gujarat High Court in Civil Company Law, election matters etc . since 1971. Worked as Additional Central Government Counsel in the High Court from July, 1980. Appointed Additional Judge, Gujarat High Court from 26.5.1982 for two years. Appointed Permanent Judge from 1.12.1982. Transferred to Rajasthan High Court with effect from 25.2.1995. Appointed as Chief Justice of that High Court from 4.4.1995. Resigned on 11.9.1996.
