Born on 4.3.1949.

           Passed SSC examination in the year 1965. Passed B.A. (Hons.) Economics as main subject in the year 1969. Obtained degree of LL.B. (General) in 1971 with First Class and also obtained degree of LL.B. (Special) in 1972 with First Class.

           Enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Gujarat on 1.8.1972. Practised in District Court, Bharuch and in the High Court of Gujarat for 15 years and conducted many, civil, criminal, constitutional and revenue matters.

           Was selected as District and Sessions Judge in the year 1987 and worked in the District of Panchmahals at Godhra, Rajkot and Vadodara.

           Elevated to the Bench of the High Court of Gujarat as Additional Judge on 11.12.1997 and confirmed as Permanent Judge on 17.6.1999.

           Due to retire on 4.3.2011.
