Mr. Dharmadhikari was born on 14th August, 1940 at Nagpur and educated at Betul, Nagpur and Indore had a brilliant academic career. Armed with Master�s degree in law, he was achieved high honours throughout course of graduation.
He was started legal practice with his father in 1966-1967. By his brilliant and uncanny skill, he carved out a niche for himself in High Court of Jabalpur in 1967-68 under the able guidance of Mr. Yashwant Dharmadhikari, a Senior Advocate and Advocate General. His extraordinary legal acumen and unfathomable knowledge were recognized and he established himself as a leading lawyer.
He was appointed as Additional Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court on 24th March 1989 and permanent judge of the same High Court on 27th July, 1990 and proved his mettle.
He was elevated as the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court on 25th January 2000.
He has been elevated as Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 5.3.2002.
