Born on 26.4.1948. Enrolled as Advocate with the Bar Council of Gujarat on 24.1.1973. Practiced in Civil and Criminal matters at City Civil, Small Causes Court and the Gujarat High Court. Appointed as a Judge of the City Civil Court on 26.3.1987 and confirmed as a Judge of that court with effect from 1.2.1988. Appointed as the Additional Principal Judge of the City Civil Court w.e.f 23.1.1995. Was Registrar of the High Court of Gujarat. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Gujarat High Court for period of 2 years w.e.f. 18.9.1995. Transferred to Madras High Court on 11.7.1996. The term of additional judge extended upto 17.11.1997. Further extension as permanency has not been given.
